This page explains what AnswerAfrika collects and how it works when you run an AI visibility scan or open a shared report. It describes only what the product does today.
What you give us when you scan
To run a scan you enter a business name, website, industry, and location. Those four fields are submitted to AnswerAfrika’s scan endpoint and passed to an AI model for analysis so the report can be produced. No account is needed to run or share a scan.
What a scan produces
The report is an AI-generated assessment, so its content can be inaccurate. Treat its scores and findings as a starting point and verify important details yourself.
Shared report links
When you share a report, the report data is encoded into the share link itself, in the part of the URL that follows the “#” (the fragment). This fragment is never sent to the AnswerAfrika server and is not stored in a database. The link is the report: anyone who opens it sees the frozen snapshot of that scan, and the report stays with anyone it was shared with. Be mindful of that before sharing a report that contains business information.
Cookies and tracking
AnswerAfrika does not currently set advertising cookies or run third-party analytics or tracking scripts. The scan flow does not require an account. If we add analytics or essential cookies later, this page will be updated before they go live.

The example AI Visibility Report shown on this site is illustrative sample data, not the results of a scan on any real business.
